This is the second time we have used Glenns Bay Automotive and so thankful that we found them! We moved here almost 4 years ago and are having to get "connected" again. The first few shops we went to were subpar and one was just horrible! Josh at Glenns Bay is the BEST! They are actually an HONEST repair shop. We had quite a bit of work done last time and they were very fair. This time they help us save $$. The other places we went to in the past would have taken full advantage of us. My vehicle was towed to Glenns Bay Automotive on Sunday night, after a holiday weekend. I was given no promise for it to be checked and repaired, on that Monday morning. My car was having some issues that I couldn't diagnose on my own. We are preparing for a long distance move and wanted to have only necessary repairs done. I am beyond impressed by the honesty of this shop in comparison to what I've seen in the past. After telling them our situation and letting them do an inspection, I got a call with a list ranked from most important to it can wait. The quote for the repairs was a lot less than I was expecting. They got it done quick, and when I went to pick it up the bill was $300 less than what I was quoted. I feel very confident bringing our other vehicle here and I only wish I had found this place sooner before wasting money at other shops.

I took my friend's 2013 Chevrolet Suburban to have a diagnosis as to why it had fluid leaking and an estimated price to have it repaired. It took less than an hour for them to call me with what the issue was and refered me to another repair shop. so my friend decided to trade it in for a new vehicle. They were VERY HONEST & TRUSTWORHY! No idea how they are actual repair, but I stop by when I'm an unsure and they tell me what they think without looking at the car, and I tip them a $5 for their knowledge. Better than all the other mechanics here who want $100 a bolt worth of work for some reason

These guys are AMAZING! Every time I need anything done with my car I bring it to Glenns Bay Automotive and I know without a doubt the work will be done quickly, correctly and they won't keep tacking things on to pad a bill (if anything they leave things off that they did just to be nice). I am a disabled single mother, I called these guys first thing in morning they were so nice and easy to talk to to. I had my car towed there he said it would be Monday before he could look at it. I had the car dropped off at 9am on a friday it was fixed and ready to pick up at 12 pm. I would recommend them a thousand times!!

Coming into this shop, brought back so many memories for me. Not only did I feel like I was back at the shop my husband and I used to own, Joe was extremely honest and friendly. I felt right at home sitting in the office chatting with another customer. Being in the automotive repair business is a business where you have people's lives in your hands. Joes shop and his workers, brought me back to one of the best times in my life. All of the details in his shop from the concrete floor of the bays to the license plates that adorn the walls and all of the automotive signs in the office made me feel right at home. It was so comfortable and cheerful write down to the beautiful wreaths that were hanging on the walls which were for sale. And I found the perfect one for my neighbor for a Christmas present. I have also attached a picture of the wreath and a picture of my late husband, who Joe reminded me of , with the same type of blue uniform.

My family and I are from out of town, had an issue with my car overheating on the interstate when AC and fan were going. Determined that my engine was overheating because my grille shutters were stuck in closed position. This is something only a dealership can fix. Ended up at this shop, and mechanic figured out a temporary solution to my problem, so that we don’t have to drive 12 hours in the summer with windows down and no AC. If you’re from out of town and in a bind, this place will help you! Thanks!!!

We were on vacation when we experienced car issues. Not knowing any mechanics, in the area, I called our mechanic back in Pittsburgh to get advise. After describing the issues my mechanic determined they were caused by a bad sensor or possibly the thermostat and suggested repair costs to be between $100.00 to $200.00 determined by which issue. We took the car to Glenn's Bay, selected based on online reviews and their location. They took my car in the very next day and determined the code just needed reset. The cap was loose on the coolant tank which caused coolant to evaporate. The coolant got low and set the sensors off. The sensors and thermostat were working fine and simply clearing the code, in the computer, corrected the issues. We were charged only $30.00. A few days later we drove home to Pittsburgh and had absolutely no car issues, during our 10.5 hour drive home, nor since. I appreciate Glenns Bay Automotive's honesty and assisting us so promptly.

Joe at Glenns Bay Automotive is a lifesaver!! I just moved to the area so when the starter on my jeep start acting up I panic - A LOT!!! *bleep* $#$# After frantically explaining the problem I was having with the Jeep and my personal woes, Joe calmly told me to stop in the next morning and he would take a look. And he did. The jeep was fixed before 11 AM and the cost was much lower than I expected. I highly recommend Glenns Bay Automotive!!

Joe and Joe are "the guys"! Everybody needs a great mechanic and these two are phenomenal! They fought with insurance to get my mom's motor replaced, they are very good at solving issues, brakes, unusual noises, etc. They do it all except body work! These guys are honest and I would drive 4 hours to have them work on my vehicle! They are that good, that honest, and that reasonably priced! I have FINALLY found my new lifetime mechanics!!!!!! Our gps was a little confusing....they are off the main road down on the left. Keep up the good work Joe and John...I mean Joe and Joe! Update August 2020... I had an air conditioner problem on a Honda Accord and took to these guys and when I got it back it would make your nose hairs have icicles on them! It didn't work this good when it was brand new! Good job again guys! Thanks Joe and Joe! And we know which Joe does all the work around there! Just sayin'!😉

While vacationing at Surfside Beach, I heard a strange noise in the front of my car. I took it to NTB on Hwy. 17. Their estimate was $1960.00. After talking with one of the locals, I picked my car up and took it to Glenn’s Road Automotive. Joe and Joe were so kind and showed me what was written my with my car. I ended up paying $165.00. I would recommend this business to anyone having problems with their car!

We were on vacation in Myrtle Beach when my truck started acting up. Brought it to Glenn's Bay and they put it in the shop immediately knew what it was right away...the computer trying to adjust for change in elevation. They didnt even charge me for the diagnostic, just said have a great vacation. Joe and Joe are trustworthy mechanics and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic who you can trust not to shaft you.

Joe and Joe are the most trust worthy and hard working mechanics you could find. They take the time to find the problem, give you the advice on how to deal with it, then fix it. You call them, they say bring it in and then you pick it up when they are done. I have worked in customer service all my life and I can assure you you wont find a better team. They won't try to up sell you, they just tell you the problem, the cost to fix it and that's it.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I received an estimate from Firestone in Surfside and they told me my break fluid was leaking around my back tire and my car was unsafe to drive. There was other things I needed done as well and they told me it would cost me $1,484.89. I found Glenns Bay Automotive via Google. Joe called and told me there was no signs of any leakage. My bill with them for everything else that needed done was $611.70. I gave them my estimate from Firestone when I dropped my car off so they knew what their estimate was. They could have ripped me off and didn't. This was my first time there but won't be my last. They will get ALL my future business. It's nice to know there are still honest people out there. Thank you Glenns Bay Automotive, you guys ROCK!!!!
